Typically, the embryo transfer is carried out 3 days after the egg cell collection. For the transfer, always embryos with normal morphology (appearance) are chosen. The transfer can be carried out also on Day 2, 4 or 5 after the egg cell collection.

This allows selecting the strongest and best developed embryos. Their normal appearance does not guarantee that the embryos are free from genetic disorders. Only preimplantation diagnosis allows the rejection of defective embryos with no potential for obtaining pregnancy.
