Myths – lymphocyte vaccination

Recurrent miscarriages are the whole group of disorders, and, unfortunately, due to the difficult diagnosis of such miscarriage treatments vary significantly, and in many cases they do not target the real cause. One of the treatment methods used in Poland and in other countries, however without scientific evidence, is vaccination with lymphocytes. We often observe among our patients that the patients who got pregnant and miscarried earlier, after such therapy do not get pregnant at all. Often patients are diagnosed for hypothyreosis as the cause of recurrent miscarriages. Based on our experience, we do not observe any major impact of antithyroid antibodies and the level of thyroid hormones on the occurrence of miscarriages.
