When does the treatment end? With the fertilization itself?

After the transfer procedure, i.e. after an embryo is placed into a woman’s uterus, subsequent visits take place in order to verify and monitor the pregnancy. This is the moment of key importance, as at its first stage the process may require the administration of appropriate drugs. Then the woman comes under the care of the doctor who manages her pregnancy. The objective of the treatment is considered attained if the patient gives birth to a child.
